Community Engagement: McFarland Clinic

Community engagement is at the heart of what we do.

By nurturing relationships with our neighbors across central Iowa, we strive to improve health outcomes and make our community a better place to live.

Shauna, Madison, and Dr. Timothy Swinton (Iowa River Hospice Medical Director) met with Deb Wollam, Executive Director of McFarland Clinic - Marshalltown, and the McFarland physicians/team members to educate on Iowa River Hospice and the importance of having the hospice conversation with patients. The McFarland physicians and Dr. Swinton had a great conversation about patients and what we can all do to help.

Patient care is at the center of everything we do - community members like these are how we can be so successful.
