Full-Time RN - Inpatient Days
Inpatient Days - 7 AM to 7 PM. The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide care and support to terminally ill patients and their families. Their presence and services should bring comfort to the person who faces the end of their life and help them reach acceptance and peace of mind. The Registered Nurse should know the value of hospice care in alleviating pain and suffering. Must have a compassionate nature and excellent interpersonal skills. Is knowledgeable in caring for the terminally ill, performing tasks such as administering medication and providing emotional support, helping patients live their final days with dignity and comfort.PRN Hospice Aide
The Hospice Aide (HA) works with the interdisciplinary team under the direction of the assigned Registered Nurse (RN) to assist in the care management of patients and families. He/she provides personal care to hospice patients in accordance with a written plan of care with focus on quality of life in all interactions with patient, family, and other partners.PRN Registered Nurse
The Hospice On-Call Registered Nurse (RN) will provide our patients and families with telephone-based care management services after regular office hours. The On-Call RN will assess symptoms/concerns of callers to determine the urgency and type of care needed, make on-call visits and pronouncements as needed, communicate with clinical staff as appropriate, and provide support and care recommendations to callers. The goal of the telephone triage is to identify the necessity for on-call visits, provide information and support, symptom management, and to coordinate care across the hospice home care delivery system.Testimonial
